The Commissioner has the discretion to award an additional 10% based on Maltese cultural elements:

5% - Malta features as Malta or local usage of facilities 5% - Maximization of local resources

25% on all eligible animation/VFX expenditure.

The Commissioner has the discretion to award an additional 15% based on Maltese cultural elements and on the maximization of local resources. The financial incentive shall not exceed a maximum rebate of 40%.
